El Safir

El Safir is a beautiful 17 metre boat, equipped with “cutter comfort”: which means that the two sails of the prow – the yankee and the foresail – are fitted out in such a way as to leave the deck free and accessible to guests, even during navigation.

Built with a made-to measure project in 2000, it had a complete refit in June 2008.

It has an excellent sailing performance, and with its 4 guest cabins – three doubles and one twin, with three bathrooms – the lounge with a dining table for 12 people and ample spaces on deck, it offers a level of service superior to the average sailing boats of the same size.

This means a high level of comfort for guests and the reason is simple:

All the advantages of a holiday aboard El Safir

The mahogany interior increases the thermal insulation of the zones below deck, and this is fundamental in the summer to have a good night’s sleep…
and not to wake up in the morning with the side effects of air conditioning

The 800 litre fresh water tank on board allows one to sail for several days and therefore enter the ports for pleasure and not for necessity

The generator always maintains all the electrical appliances in working order – for example the fridge – and therefore permits greater autonomy at sea

The fridge on board is 150 litres and vertical – like the one you would have at home – and therefore very convenient to fill up…and empty

On board there is a freezer, fundamental for the “quality” of the menu, which as you will have gathered, is of a particularly high standard on board

Still on the cooking theme, we also have an oven and a dishwasher: you won’t personally have to use them but you’ll be pleased that they are there…

The deck has two separate zones – one for the controls and another for relaxing: which means you can sit down at the table even during navigation and with the
captain at the helm

The captain is also the owner of the boat, which is never chartered without a skipper – the complete opposite of the boats from big chartering companies that fall
into anyone’s hands…
