I began sailing as a boy, when bored with the beach in front of my house, I decided to accept the first embarkation that I was able to find.
In fact, at that time I didn’t yet know anything about the wind, the ropes or the routes, but in that desire for adventure I discovered a great passion for the sea, and from that moment on I haven’t stopped sailing in the Mediterranean and consequently in other far-away seas.
And one day, after sailing round Italy, from Trieste to Genoa, I continued, through the straits of Bonifacio, to follow the call of an “irresistible siren”, the desire to discover and to go to “see beyond”. Read more … >>

Trying to tell the stories of men who have spent the majority of their existence aboard a boat, sailing far and wide across the seas of the world, is not simple.
Among these “mysterious” figures, there’s one that can undeniably be considered the ultimate expert of the Red Sea of Yemen and the archipelago of the mythical Dahlak islands.
